Text of Complaint by Lakesh siva:

On 12/02/2018 we boarded from gwalior to dindigul on train no. 12688, we’re carrying a LED TV (40 inch)along with us. When we went to the parcel office in the GWL railway station to book the ticket for the TV ,the person in the office refused to give the tickets .

When We asked for the reason, he said “there is no need of taking tickets for this TV , you can carry along with you there will be no problem and no need to take ticket for this TV.

So we took back our TV and carried along with us. And when we reached dindigul junction, the railways athorities asked us for the ticket for the TV and we explained what happened in the GWL station. But he refused to listen to that and he fined us Rs.1850 . Here as a passenger I have done what I have to do but I was fined which was totally not fair.

They have to take action against the person who guided the passenger in the wrong way but here the passenger was fined .
