I had booked a tatkal ticket by irctc app.
I have seen 3 issues with that which makes the people hopeless and trying to scam with the people.
It was not a first time.
1. While booking a ticket the server is being intentionally kept in jammed so that more reservation can be made (waiting list).
2. Earlier the tatkal booking is kept lock or stopped automatically while seats are filled which was good but nowadays it is only business.
3. The refunds of waiting tatkal ticket is not fully refunded. It is deducted as same as cancelation rule which is not good.
My concern is that if a person not cancel the ticket he /she should be got full refunds
