Dear sir,
I’ve been a ticket for new valuable customers for the past several years but the issue I faced today was a terrible experience in my entire life, I booked a Nun II movie in PVR Heritage RSL ECR Chennai on 09/16/2023 for the 10:00 PM Show. When we were about to enter the theatre the checking person(Prem who said that he was the security manager) standing there in front of us and he said that one of my friends had drunk and hadn’t allowed any of us to enter the theatre for a while. Then I asked him to allow me into the theatre and he told me “Sorry sir we can’t allow you all because one of your friends is drunk”, then we requested to talk with the manager or one who is superior to him but he won’t allow us to talk with their manager for 30 mins. Once the manager came he also said that if an alcohol smell comes we won’t allow any of them inside the theater. Then the manager spoke sluggishly and told us that one of our friends was drunk ( One of our friends who accepted that he was drunk 7 hours before entering the theatre) and was not eligible to enter the theatre. And when we asked for the counter price ticket money back they started arguing with us that this can’t happen this is theatre rules and was thrown out of the place. and then after 1 hour, we asked them to change the tickets for the next day he again said sorry sir we can’t do it and our theatre’s terms and conditions don’t allow us to do so and again we thrown out of the place. And as per the security manager (Prem) he said that if a guy drinks at morning 6.00 o’clock and come’s to the show at night 10.00 o’clock, then if his/her dress smells like alcohol so that person is not allowed inside the theatre. May I know what is the time limit to enter the theatre once we get drunk.
I booked the ticket as it was listed on bookmyshow.com. I’m requesting for refund of my money which cost of booking the tickets and requesting the honorable officer take the necessary steps to warn and advise the theatre staff to treat the clients gently.
