Text of Complaint by Shradha Sharda:

I ordered for HP pavilion aero laptop on 20th July 2024 (Order no. 402-3799034-8747514). Amazon had announced sale from 20th July to 21st July 2024. I got good discount on the product and paid INR 65740 (after all discounts), which without sale is selling on the Amazon app at INR 75,990 (as on 23 July 2024).

The product was not delivered on 22nd July and I received a message saying that the delivery could not be made because delivery partner did not find the address. I never received any call from delivery agent to confirm the address. I immediately called Amazon customer care and raised the issue. They assured me that the product will be delivered within 24 hours (by 23rd July 2024) and also took an alternate contact number from me in case my number was not reachable.

On 23rd morning, I saw on amazon app that the product was cancelled and it mentioned that the refund will be initiated. This is cheating with the customer. It is a clear case that Amazon/ seller did not want to provide the product on discount, hence all this drama was created by Amazon.

Post the initiation of refund, there is no way that Amazon can be contacted for checking what happened (all the helplines close automatically), hence the customer is left to suffer.

I would definitely want an action against amazon for such cheating.

Awaiting a redressal on the above issue.

This is clear that the seller / Amazon did not want to deliver the product on discount and hence all this drama was created. this is cheating with the customer.
