With reference to the subject and the below mail, I would like to inform you the issue I am facing with my Airtel postpaid number.
First of all I would like to introduce myself. Am Prabhu from Coimbatore, Airtel postpaid customer since 2014.
Last Friday (27.12.2019) evening by 4pm I have visited your Airtel main office in Coimbatore, P.N.Palayam, Avinashi Road.
Regarding my MNP of Airtel postpaid connection 9894635775, which I have been using since 2014.
I have asked to clear my outstanding as on date and I have paid Rs.160 by cash and cleared the same.
My issue is I was using my Airtel postpaid connection under Rs.299 plan for a while.
On Friday (27.12.2019) morning accidentally my son was using my phone and unknowingly without my knowledge he changed my plan to Rs.499 rental.
I really got shocked once I come to know the change of my plan. Immediately I made a call to Airtel customer care and informed them very clearly about the change of my plan and requested to change my previous plan of Rs.299 rental. They told it is not possible to change to the old plan, as that plan was not exist. So I informed them that I will port my number cos Airtel is not ready to retain its customer who was using the post paid connection since 2014.
So the same day (27.12.2019) evening I have visited your Airtel main office in Coimbatore and informed them all the things happened to my number. As per their advise I have closed my as on date outstanding and I have been advised to give the porting by typing PORT 9894635775 to 1900. Once the message is delivered I am getting the response like this (UPC cannot be generated as the period of last activation of mobile number is less than 90 days).
So I have shown the message to your customer care showroom executive and after seeing it, he himself called to the Airtel customer care and informed that the customer is not getting UPC number for porting his number. For that the customer care executive has replied that some of the customers are facing this problem and the issue will be solved in 24 hours.
They wrote a mail also regarding my issue to the back end team.
On next day Saturday(28.12.2019) I received a call from Airte customer care stating that your issue will take another 48 hours to get resolved, i.e., by Monday(30.12.2019) my issue will get resolved and I have informed to the customer care executive that I will not pay the rent for those days and he told no issues it will be waived by Airtel.
I have waited till 30th evening 6pm for the solution for my problem. But it did not happen and again after 6’o clock I have called the customer care number and informed again about my issue and I am requested to wait for another 24 hours, till today(31.12.2019).
Now my question to you is my problem will be solved or not. If not why Airtel has to propagand that it is the largest network in India. Really it is very shame to be in this network.
I really do not know what to say about your service to your premium customers.
If possible try to solve my issue by today eod, otherwise there is no other go than to throw the SIM card away and go to some other network.

Hi Nawaz,
Giving respect to your words, waited till 02.01.2020 to get the solution for my issue. Hopefully waited to get resolved from everything. But happened is bull shit.
So I come to know, not even a single person is working in Airtel. And no one have stuff to solve a simple problem.
