I did a recharge of my prepaid number 9568103707 on 07-05-2019, I was using Idea initially but last month I switched to airtel. As I use to do my recharge via paytm only so before recharging I changed the operator to avoid any mistakes. I changed the operator and I even browsed plans of airtel and selected it but after I recharged it I saw idea’s tag and the recharge was also successful. It was a 399 rupees order. I messaged paytm for it, they replied the order was successful and they cannot do anything in this regard and provided me with the reference no. UW0507002212000203. So I decided to call idea and ask them about it. The operator told me that your no. Is closed from here so where the recharge was done? If I would have done a recharge to some other number, I wouldn’t have asked for a refund but when the no. Is mine, I selected the right operator then what is this app glitch. I have anyway done another recharge. Paytm cannot act so irresponsibly with their customers. And its not about 1 or 2 rupees, its 399 and it matters. A positive response will be highly appreciated.
