Text of Complaint by Haimonti Moitra:

I ordered a console table through Amazon on 17Apr, 2022 by making a payment of Rs. 5499. The delivery date was 26th Apr, 2022. The item did not get delivered and no update or intimation was provided.
I called them up twice between 30th to 3rd May. Herein the Amazon call center person as well as the seller kept on insisting that it will get delivered in 1-2days.
Till 5th May, as nothing happened and along with the fact that there was no cancellation option also appearing for the product, called Amazon customer care again. The team informed that they can’t help and if I want my refund, I have to wait for one to two weeks.
I believe it’s a sheer harassment and i want the entire amount back plus an equal amount on account of mental agony.
