The order for above mentioned product was placed with Amazon online vide order no. 406-2037056-5625938 on 05/08/2023 for 2 umbrellas. On 09/08/2023 I received 2 umbrellas but both were black colour instead of 1 black and 1 blue as I had ordered. So I placed replacement order. Amazon Pick up was scheduled on 12/08/2023 from my home address. Same day I got admitted to hospital due to my poor health. But I managed to hand over the package of 2 umbrellas box to the courier boy by my wife. My wife gave the box of 2 umbrellas and in return courier gave a box. On opening the box she found only one blue colored umbrella and it was rusted and damaged with many holes on umbrella’s cloth. After getting discharge from hospital on 14/08/2023 at night, I wrote complaint on amazon app and requested for return of the product. Accordingly pickup was scheduled on 15/08/2023 and 16/08/2023 but on both days courier refused to accept only one umbrella saying pickup is for two umbrellas. I tried to show him return instructions on my app for this product which mentioned for one quantity and already they have received another one. But the boy denied to collect one umbrella and told me to call customer care. Immediately I contacted customer care and narrated the incident and the person on phone assured that the courier person will come to collect the package of one umbrella on next day ie on 17/08/2023. But nobody came and “return pick-up canceled due to verification failed” reflected on app. So again I called customer care on 17/08/2023 night. Again I narrated the whole incident and the person agreed to refund the amount of ₹ 725/- on receiving good ie one umbrella. She also told me that return will be accepted without verification. She scheduled pickup for today on 20/08/2023. But till now (9.30 pm) nobody has came for pickup and the same message “return pick-up canceled due to verification failed'” appears on amazon app against this order. Are they really want to refund the amount or just cheating on me. I am tired of calling on customer care and wasting my time and energy. Please give me proper guidance and solution in this matter. Please help me in this matter.
