Text of Complaint by GANESH R:

Dear Sir

I have two Airtel postpaid connections.

  1. 9444474567 – Primary Number and
  2. 9740034567 – Add on Number

I made a request to 121 that to convert my add-on number to a prepaid connection.

That person from 121 said that before migrating to prepaid that number has to be separated from the primery number. During this process he said that outgoing service will be barred. After 3 days it will be activated and migrated to prepaid plan.

As he said the outgoing calls are barred. Not activated for a week. So I went to the Airtel service centre fro 5 times. For the addon number (9740034567) is still outgoing calls are suspended. One Mr. Sudhir customer care executive (Mobile: 9677113950) from Airtel customer care centre, No. 950, 101 Rajaji Road, Sanatorium Tambaram, Chennai.600045 TamilNadu had attended my query for 5 times but he cannot solve my problem. He said address verification negative. Nobody  had visited my house for address verification. Without visiting my house the report cannot be negative…

This process is ongoing for the past 35 days. I am astonished by Airtel’s customer service.

Still my add-on number’s outgoing calls are barred and it is not converted to a prepaid connection. I have paid the outstanding bill amount for that add-on number in the customer care centre as Mr. Sudhir’s instruction.

Hence I request that 9740034567 may please be converted to a prepaid connection at once.

Ganesh
