I chose to port out from Vodafone to JIO and did all as per procedure. But one of their representative called from their personal number and said i am calling from JIO and please send cancel mobile number to 1900 for the request to be processed to JIO.
It was done and suddenly my request to port out to JIO got cancelled. I have send email to vodafone customer service and got a call from them where they said that our number are being shared with retention team and they can see our number and give us call anytime from their personal number. This is Data breach where vodafone can’t secure their customer details and keep on promising a lot over advertisement.
Also, they said that the request will not be processed now.
Secondly, once you give port out request this company calls more than 100 times a day with different numbers. Even you will say you don’t need it, they keep on calling.
