I placed an order through Magicpin from “Kerala Corner” in Noida, which included 1 Masala Dosa. The delivery took more than an hour, and upon arrival, the food was in poor condition:
The dosa was soggy, oily, and had poor packaging, leading to spillage and mess.
The coconut chutney was of poor taste and below average quality.
The dish, typically considered a healthy option, had excess visible oil, which made it unhealthy and unappetizing.
The entire meal experience was ruined due to the delay and poor food quality.
I reported the issue to Magicpin support, and while they acknowledged the problem, the resolution offered was a coupon (first for ₹75, then ₹100 off). However, this coupon was not helpful, as it provided less discount than the existing deals on the app, making it worthless.
Despite multiple escalations and clear feedback, Magicpin failed to provide a fair resolution (either a refund or a useful compensation). They closed the case without proper redressal, which I find unacceptable.
I have attached screenshots and chat transcripts that show the complete history of my complaint and how it was handled.
I am seeking a full refund of the amount paid or a meaningful resolution that genuinely compensates for the poor experience, as the offered coupons do not hold value in comparison to current app offers.
