My name is Arvind. I am feeling cheated by the network calling itself the fastest among all – “Airtel”

I got a call from Airtel representative couple of weeks back. She gave me a lucrative offer and hence i had shifted my service provider (from Idea to Airtel).

Since my porting i am facing a lot of problems, and i am not getting appropriate ETA.

1. As i live in Vadodara, Gujarat and call came from Airtel center of Ahmedabad. It took them full 1 week to deliver that SiM card. (Myself fool enough to trust them). My phone was literally off for 2+ days as i was out of idea network and Airtel SIm card was not delivered for another 2 days.

2. I trusted Airtel on the name of “fastest network” so much that, i had ported all 3 numbers used in my family and hence my entire family was out of connection for 2 days. Such a mess in this mordern era.

3. Atlast i had to go to Vadodara’s Airtel center to collect my SIM cards. Once the numbers got activated i got couple of more surprises.

     A) Airtel network in the extremely poor in the area where i live. Idea was far better. Forget LTE, sometime you have to really go on 1st floor to dial a number.

  B) I was sold on a family plan for a unified bill for all 3 numbers, however to my surprise it was a false promise. I got to know from AIRTEL customer care that all 3 numbers are ported seperately and 3 bills will be generated.

  C) The connection came with a unique problem where i am not getting OTP messages. Not sure whom to go to resolve this as already my other queries are in pending state.

Bottom line: Now i have to pay 3 seperate bills. Forget 4g, i am struggling to use basic internet, most of the time my number is out of reach as network strength is very week.
