Scammers. I fell for the photos/advertisements. Reality is different. It’s not worth for the price they are charging. No wifi and rooms were unclean with a pungent odor. There were nails protruding in the rooms close to the beds that are very unsafe, especially when you have kids/toddlers running around. Paints are ripped off everywhere. No hot water and was told to wait for 10 minutes. They sent someone to turn on the boilers and even after 30 minutes no luck. Beware of using the heaters in room. It’s a hill station and obviously people will be using it. It’s mentioned as chargeable if we use it and the same is mentioned in all rooms. When complained about all these to the staffs, they didn’t give us any other options and just told us to cancel the booking. We took two rooms and just left the place with in two hours. Staffs were very rude and the manager has even asked me to mention his name (Ruben) in review. They trigger you to the core making you wait for hours. I made my booking through hotels.com/Expedia group and raised all these as concerns. They just updated me that the property management is not reachable. Though they accept the poor maintenance of the property with all the concerns we had raised, the only option they gave was to cancel the booking. The hotel policies state as non-refundable. But without any second thoughts we cancelled our booking and left the property. I now have to raise a dispute via the bank for the refund, mentioning the safety hazards, lack of amenities and also the rude behavior of the staffs.
I would strongly recommend to stay away if you want your vacation to be fun. We were of two families and three kids. We were two families with three kids and was left stranded in the cold weather. A day just got ruined with all of us frustrated because of this booking with Yantra and we had to immediately look for some other options for our stay!
