I am a subscriber of Hathway broadband services for more than 3 years. The service is repeatedly disrupted and any issues take days to restore. Calling customer support about these issues doesn’t help. It’s a dead end. They only promise you resolution in 24 hrs and disconnect the call no matter how you request an plead. there is not process to address and escalate serious recurring issues and loss of service.
Currently I’ve been facing disconnection for 2 weeks, I’ve called the customer support over a number of times and been given false assurances of receiving call back from tech support and service being restored on the next day or same day. Nothing has happened. Hathway does not compensated consumers for downtime and service denial no matter how long it persists. The Nodal officers number on the website doesn’t work – the customer support doesn’t provide you the number of any appellate authority and disconnects call after providing standard information that is unhelpful. Due to this myself and my wife have received warning memos from my company since I cannot complete my work on time to that extent that they have asked my wife to resign. This is unfair especially during this lockdown and to loose our livelihood for something that is not our fault.
