My partner has just recently been able to cancel his bill for nothing, due to lack of coverage within our house. I spoke to them while he was talking to them over the phone. We have had lack of coverage all the time. I told them that we are supposed to have phones that can be reached, but they would not listen.
I also mentioned the current pandemic and that Martin has asthma and he does all the shopping, what if he becomes ill and he can’t tell me. I have not used the phone since March last year because I cannot get coverage. They said as it is a new contract which was taken out after Martin Broom, my common law husband, who has the bill in his name, took out the contract in January 2018.
He has been trying to change providers ever since March last year, finally agreeing to it being cancelled for nothing just this month. You see, I explained to them that I am disabled and need the phone for emergency purposes. I cannot believe that they can cancel his and not my contract, I think this is unfair, I want to get another phone so I can keep safe if I go out because of Covid-19, so I can keep track and trace. I have not used this phone in this picture since then. I really do not understand why they are keeping one account open, you can check that the number has not been used in all that time.
