Here is the problem that I have experienced- money gets deducted from bank account and doesn’t get added to Paytm wallet, that’s not the worst part, failed transaction refund should ideally happen automatically, but Paytm doesn’t do that. Customer has to go through lot of process in reporting complaint, give transaction ID/s . Educated people could do all of it, how about not so well educated people and small scale business people? This is a fraud business model, some kinda regulation should be in place to auto refund failed Paytm wallet transactions/if this auto refund is already in place, customer should get some acknowledgement of failed transaction and refund status via message /email.
so far I experienced 8000 rs dispute while trying to recharge Paytm wallet, I had to chase Paytm teams for the refund, it’s really painful for having to follow up for something which is rightfully yours.
