DUE TO BEING ABROAD FOR 2 YRS BECAUSE OF COVID SITUATION AND Paytm APP NOT ABLE TO BE USED ABROAD , NO TRANSACTION WAS DONE THROUGH THE Paytm WALLET . I REACHED INDIA ON 10TH DECEMBER 2021 AND ADDED MONEY TO MY WALLET – RS 3000/- , WHERE I WAS GIVEN ACCES TO RECHARGE MY WALLET WITHOUT MENTIONING THAT IT IS INACTIVE . NOW THE CASE IS I AM UNABLE TO USE THIS MONEY FROM THE WALLET , WHEN ENQUIRED WITH CUSTOMER CARE , THEY ASKED ME TO UPDATE MY KYC WHICH WAS DONE FROM THROUGH A LOCAL Paytm KYC – AGENT.
I AM RAISING THIS QUERY WITH THE CUSTOMER CARE SINCE 15TH OF DECEMBER – REGULARLY AND THE ONLY REPLY I GET IS , THAT MY KYC IS NOT UPDATED OR THEY TRANFER MY CALL TO ANOTHER DEPARTMETS ( KYC & WALLET ) OR THAT MY COMPLAINT IS REGEISTERED AND THEY WILL LOOK INTO IT .
MY QUESTION TO Paytm TEAM IS , HOW DID MY WALLET ACCEPTED MONEY WITHOUT THE ACTIVATION OR KYC , WHEN ITS TIME TO USE MY WALLET FOR PAYMENT, THE TRANSACTION GET DECLINED.
I HAVE ASKED FOR REFUND BUT THEY CANNOT DO SO , DUE TO INACTIVE WALLET.
I AM TIRED OF THIS AND UNABLE TO RESOLVE IT FROM MY END AS I HAVE DONE EVERYTHING FROM MY SIDE . KINDLY RESOLVE THIS MATTER .
THEY HAVE NOT PROVIDED ANY EMAIL ID TO CONTACT THE HIGHER AUTHORITIES OF THE COMPANY.
Iam facing the same issue with my Paytm account. I even went to a center they listed as KYC center. And they said KYC is done, but the wallet is still inactive,.
