Hi, I want to share an incident of cyber crime which has happened with me while using a PAYTM services with my no 9711554151. I believe in E-money transaction and with an advantage of having E- wallet money ,i am a frequent user of paytm. Since 4-5 Days i was getting a call from a number ( 6289548377 ) claiming that they are calling from paytm and telling me there was a problem with my KYC verification and soon it will get expire and won’t be able to use paytm anymore. So they want me to help in completing my KYC procedure over the call. While calling many times to me , they have already blocked my paytm wallet and i was not able to do any transaction with my wallet. So i said ok go ahead and do the formalities. So they asked me to download( team viewer app) from play store and re-login my Paytm. While doing so he was able to see my paytm password and he immediately first took all my paytm wallet balance. Side by side he was telling me to add some money from my ATM to paytm wallet ,trust me ,if i had done that he was able to get into my bank details and atm card pin and he could have robbed with a big figure amount from my account.But luckily it clicked my mind that if i add money in my wallet, he can see my CVV code for adding money as he was on a team viewer screen on the other side.when i said him of what he is doing instead of completing my KYC he disconnect the call and my paytm wallet balance was already gone….I immediately blocked my debit card as he can get into my phone and fetch personal details…I removed team viewer app also from my phne immediately…I have already raised a complain with paytm but hearing from them i believe i am not the only victim of this case…so plz be aware of any one calling and saying they are from paytm to assist you with completing KYC and soo…i have visited local police station but all in vain…so i think we all should get alert of these type of theft and save ourself…I myself has learned a lesson from this but i dont want any of my friends and family to be a part of this type of fraud….???Bhakti Nagpal 8527262831.
