Text of Complaint by Mafuja Khatun:

Sir,
I want to file a complaint against Paytm Business Apps, its about their product (soundbox), in fact I never ordered it or given any consent to have this Sound Box , I only opened Pay TM business app. But unscrupulously PayTm supplied sound box through courier without any approval from me. This is nothing but shoddy malpractice on behalf of PayTm. After receiving the sound box, I immediately contacted their customer care no 0120 444 0440 on 9 th Dec’2024. I told her that “I will not use it, the box will be remained packed “. Then the customer care advised me to wait for one month, another customer care of paytm told me to wait for 2 months, to deactivate and take back the sound box.
Mean while Pay TM now send me rental bill, and already charges my account. Two days ago I again contacted customer care, now she told me to activate the sound box, she said unless I activate it she can’t deactivate!! When I try to activate the box, it turns out to be faulty one, I again a contacted their customer care, now she told me that I should apply for replacement, then she can proceed with deactivation.
For me it is their new ploy to charge money and delay the process, I already approached them with their X handle, FB messenger, only reply is ‘Wait.. We are working’

Not only me, thousands of Pay TM customer are harassed by them. They are cheaters and doing fraud. They only want to fleece the customer. If you see reply message in facebook or youtube, you can see PayTm is harassing customer by not taking the sound box back or not deactivating, someone said even they charge him after deactivation.

My prayer is that, I want immediate deactivation and surrender of PayTM Sound Box, and demanding refund which they charge me for a faulty machine which I did not use or not in function from the begining. And I want compensation for mental agony and anxiety which I go through now. i want to snap all ties with Pay TM business apps . But they are denying it. It is clearly against consumer interest
I wonder how can they rob consumer in day light, they are a bunch of liars and cheaters, I want strong and stringent action against them so that they can’t mislead or harass.
