A sales rep from PayTM had given me wrong information regarding the MDR Charges for the Android POS machine. After making the payment for the machine, he told me that the reduced charges will be applied in a day or two and few days later he left the job..
(I have a stationery store and after a few months came to know that he was giving me information regarding grocery store charges which are lower, to lure me in)
I’m here stuck with the machine after paying for 2 years AND higher MDR charges.
PayTM is not taking responsibility of this issue and not compensating me for the same. Which is causing a lot of wasted precious time and effort.
I have raised more than 7 ticket numbers for the same and there is only a “we will get back to you in 24-48 hours” reply from them to no avail.
Ethics are not followed by them and certainly no follow up regarding the issue..
Currently wasted 14k for the device(which I can get free from the bank directly) and a lot of money in higher MDR charges difference aloan (and counting till date)
