A person called Girish turned up at my parents’ place demanding that I have to pay my loan and he was verbally abusive. When asked to show his ID he asked why they need it and what they would give him if he shows the ID. He didn’t have my phone number. He finally left still abusing them after a neighbour intervened. I want Paytm loan collection agencies to cease and desist such procedures. My parents are senior citizens and my father has a history of stress disorder and heart disease. Harassment of this sort means I will report Paytm to the police and take appropriate action.
