I am a senior citizen from Madurai TamilNadu. and using PAYTM wallet since inception.I use paytm wallet for limited purpose for booking train/air/bus travel.
Undoubtedly paytm is user friendly and of immense help to me.Since I was not interested in adding one more bank to my list but at the same time interested in continuing with paytm existing wallet facility.
Though you advertise that for limited use up to rs 20000 KYC can be done by using other documents like voter id,passport driving licence etc with a validity period of one year.Your approved agents in Madurai insist for KYC with aadhar only.
Why it is so ? Pl clarify.I do not mind doing so provided an assurance is given by PAYTM that my full kyc will not be used for opening paytm banka/c.Why I want an assurance because your text message says otherwise.
Pl guide me.I am not allowed to even add small amount to my wallet despite providing my voter id on line.Again I did it with my driving licence. Both the times I was informed that my KYC was done successfully.But in reality nothing was done.Your 24 × 7 is also not responding.
On hearing from you I intend to take up the matter with RIB for more clarity on KYC
