Booked round trip flight tickets using PAYTM for travelling during April 2020 .Booking was done in the month of Feb2020 and Booking id # 10265938866.One was spicejet and other was indigo.Due to lockdown,the tickets got cancelled and initially only credit shell was given.Later indigo issued full refund of the ticket fare in the month of August to paytm(confirmed the same with Paytm).
During this entire period I was trying to reach out to PAYTM by raising tickets and calling to customer care which totally went unanswered.
Initially PAYTM tried to argue saying only credit shell was given,later agreed that refund was provided but then it did not reach my bank account.
On continuously arguing and repeatedly raising tickets they asked me to send the bank statements from Feb 2020 till Oct 2020(my ticket was raised in August and the delay can be observed by this).Its been more than a month that I had shared the bank statements and in return they are sending me default message saying “query will be responded shortly” but no response till date.Yesterday I started receiving the message received earlier asking me to share my bank statements.
With all these delay and no response to customer care,I can understand that PAytm doenst want to return the amount refunded by the airlines
I would like to raise this here and show how paytm tries to loot people’s hard earned money.
I have tried to talk this peacefully since August 2020 but in Vain.
Using the current situation they are looting people’s money.
Kindly take adequate action against this PAYTM company.
