Text of Complaint by Manabendra Mukherjee:

I have paid Rs 2900 to my fish vendor through my Paytm wallet on 18-08-2020. Unfortunately the phone number was incorrect. It was his another phone which he was not using for Paytm. However, the money was transferred to that number. But the vedor did not get it.
I tried to contact with Paytm costomer care, where there is no possibility to talk to a person for my problem. Through their online route I requested them to help me to refund the money, as there was an option that the money may be refunded if the recipient gives consent.
I received their reply next day that they were unable to get consent from the recipient, hence they could not refund.
I came to know from my vendor that no one has contacted him regarding this matter. I wrote them again mentioning that no one has contacted the recipient. But they replied me the same thing. I wrote them the third time, but they gave the same answer.
Now I have a feeling that Paytm is unwilling to help me. This is very unfortunate that their customer care system does not have any person who can be contacted for help. Only there is some option to write about my complaint which they ignore to address.
I here by request you to kindly take some action so that Paytm provides an effective customer care system to address the problems of their customer.
