Paytm CHEATED me- Complaint- Paytm wallet and KYC
I am frustrated and disappointed with Paytm’s services and Paytm wallet. Paytm has broken my trust and I feel cheated.
On 9/9/23, Sender (mobile 7506824020) transferred Rs 6,000 (Rs 3000 two times) to my Paytm wallet (number 9969632639). The sender’s Paytm account shows “money sent” but I have not received Rs 6000 in my Paytm wallet. Despite contacting Paytm’s customer care on chat and phone, I have not received the funds in my Paytm wallet nor has the amount been refunded to the sender.
Furthermore, Paytm KYC (Know Your Customer) verification process is horrible & challenging. Paytm’s KYC feature is “temporarily not available”. I visited Paytm KYC shop- Jyoti Gallery, Mumbai 400077, where Paytm is “not accepting wallet request”. Paytm’s customer care told me that I will not receive my money until my KYC is completed. I have raised Paytm customer care complaint tickets twice- Ticket no. 3331570343 and Ticket no. 3331910359 but I did not get a valid resolution.
Paytm is unfairly holding my money hostage which goes against the principles of transparency, trustworthiness, and customer service that Paytm should uphold. This is CHEATING CUSTOMER and a FRAUD by Paytm.
I urge Paytm to immediately refund money back to the sender number 7506824020. I expect Compensation for the inconvenience and distress caused due to Paytm’s delay in releasing my funds and the difficulties faced with KYC verification. All proof of Paytm screenshots are attached. Please treat this issue with the urgency it deserves.
