Text of Complaint by QUENCY CAMULLO:

Someone from WhatsApp approached me, claiming they saw my profile on an online job platform and offered me a lucrative part-time position. The job involved simple tasks like creating an eBay account and adding specific items to a watchlist, with each completed task earning me ₱40. Yesterday, March 28, 2024, I received payment totaling ₱800 for tasks I completed. They then promised a ₱5000 bonus if I completed tasks 1-12 by today, March 29, 2024. Task 6, however, turned out to be a prepaid task, requiring me to top up at least ₱900 for a +20% withdrawal bonus through a bitcoin play. Despite initial suspicions, I complied due to the consistent payments for completed tasks. After topping up ₱900 and an additional ₱300 as requested, they promised a ₱1440 withdrawal. However, after 20 minutes with no payment and no response from the supposed receptionist or manager, both the group and personal conversations disappeared. They have taken a total of ₱1200 from me, and attempts to contact the recruiter on WhatsApp have been unsuccessful. Please assist us in recovering our funds.
