I received this text message from Airtel “Pack validity for Airtel no 9717040100 will expire on 24-Nov-18 & outgoing services will stop. Recharge with RC35 or more for continued services.Dial*121*51#”. I talked to Airtel customer care regarding this message. He told me that your outgoing service will be stop on 24 Nov 2018 so you need to recharge minimum 35 for validity only and if you do not recharge then your Incoming service will also stop after 15 days. He also told me that you have to recharge after 28 days for validity if you done the recharge  with 35 Rs. I asked to him that i will have to recharge time to time only for  the validity, He replied Yes you have to recharge time to time for the validity only. But when i purchased the Airtel Sim Card that time Airtel gave me life time validity. Now Airtel is cheating to customers.

Please Help me for the same.

  1. even i got the same message that your outgoing cals will stop by 30th Novemeber 2018 for my airtel number.

    this is so pathetic. concerned person may involve in this and try to resolve the said issue.

  2. Airtel is cheating the people. This is very shame full thing for airtel. They are doing this as they are begging.

  3. Same things happen with me today my outgoing service stoped. I usually dont recharge often but today i recived a call and it was disconnected in the middle of conversation and when i try to call back it was saying your outgoing service is ended.
    Now I am thinking to replace my sim card with idea or vodafone

  4. Airtel is cheating with customers. They suddenly stopped my outgoing service without giving prior notice.
    They sent only one sms, 2 days before which was unnoticeable.

    I think they don’t need customers. How they can do like this. Useless Airtel.

  5. I too got this message(OR warning) from AIRTEL that my outgoing services will expire on 30 Nov’18. This validity didn’t extend even after I added Rs.7 in my talktime(which already was not zero ). They are making it compulsory to get Unlimited/Smart packs even when I don’t need it. Airtel services are not the best in market. It would be better if I port my number to some other Network instead of doing mandatory monthly recharge.

I don’t understand why these bullshit things happened. I also received message my incoming calls will also expired on 12th dec’18. I have 100 rs in talk time still it is not working.I am a prepaid user of Airtel for 5 years now they are cheating like this with their customers. I am also thinking to port my number or will change the network. Very disappointed with AIRTEL.

  10. Even i (9664362675) received the same msg and my outgoing services are blocked. Pathetic from airtel. Since outgoing services are blocked we cannot send the port msg. i will be doing this last recharge and then porting out from Airtel. Guys go ahead and port out from airtel they should get a lesson.

  12. Very true. Lifetime validity initially at time of purchase and now recharge after 28 days just for validity. This is really very pathetic

  13. Same happened. Going to port for sure. I am just surprised why people are not raising their voice and stop this. I have main balance and they are auto deducting from it. Airtel u just cheated us in all aspects of pack, talk time and now for validity.

Airtel has cheated with us,now its needed to recharge rs35 of every month.At the time of purchasing card they promised for lifetime outgoing calls without recharge of every month only for calling and now they are applying charges I request to everyone go for the port from airtel to another network.
