I booked Oyo in Valdosta Ga. for Saturday 26th July. I requested an early check in and the lady assured me that it was $20 after placing me on hold and calling the motel. I go to check in and the clerk tells me its not $20, but $20/hr for each hour before 3pm. I declined the room and he advises me to cancel and request a refund for the $80 I paid. Per their policy, I cancelled before 9am and requested my refund. I have been doing that since Saturday and each customer rep I speak with just gives me the runaround. I have since found out from reddit reviews that this is how OYO operates. The employees literally lie to you, and its extremely difficult to get them to refund your money even when cancelling the right way.
