I had booked a room from OYO for my stay in Baner, Pune from 13th Aug to 20th Aug 2022. I had also paid a part of the amount shown to me for the booking. Upon my arrival to the hotel, I was notified that the rates here are different and that the amount was more than the double than what was quoted in OYO. I had called the OYO help executive, but they said they can’t compensate for the amount and I had to finally cancel my stay. I was given no good options and the two options provided were both very far from my original booking. As I had come from a different state and it was pouring heavily, I couldn’t go and check any other service and had to book at the same hotel for an amount of Rs. 10000 instead of the previously quoted amount of Rs. 7686.
Being in a new state and with this bad weather, this kind of unprofessional behavior isn’t expected from OYO and has lead to a break in trust in OYO for further services.
