Oyo fraud. Taking money, no service given, no refund given

Text of Complaint by Ritesh Sharma:

My name is Ritesh and my booking ID on oyo is LYND00339.
I need refund to my account and not in Oyo money.

Scam by Oyo (kindly check call records)

10.10. I called Oyo and asked to book me a hotel in Kushal nagar, Karnataka.
Oyo guy: we have booked you AC, room at hotel Qinn. Charges to be paid 553 online in advance.

10.25: I enter to the hotel Qinn and owner denied me room (he said Oyo people are not changing tariff and room cost is over 1000 inr). After I requested he gave me room.

10.40 : I enter to my room and came to know that hotel owner lied to me and there Is no working ac in the room (he lied so I will check in).

10.45 : hotel owner denied me the AC room and I called Oyo again to resolve the issue.

10.45: Oyo guys says, property owner is not taking call so he can’t help me. After putting me to hold for about 10 minutes . I believe after about 33 minutes, Oyo guy says that if I pay more money he will transfer to new hotel.

10.45: my condition. Hungry, waiting on the street from about an hour, paid money to oyo, Oyo asking more money, room is still not confirm. I ask Oyo to refund me my money so I can book another hotel.

11.27. Oyo guy says, it showing on our screen that you are check-in in hotel so we can’t refund the money. We will not talk to property owner and offcourse we are not able to do anything.

11.27. I went to third party hotel, called the property owner to check-out my status. Hotel owner says I will do in morning.

Oyo guy says, (after a heated argument with property owner and me on group call) that he will refund only 50 percent of amount in n Oyo money (why there is oyo money. (money is taken from my account and now oyo wants to eat 50% of it and rest he wants to give as oyo money which is useless).

About 12.00 mid night. – my status. I paid money to oyo,
Oyo didn’t confirm with property owner and changed me money. I don’t have room, I have been roaming on streets for 2 hours, now Oyo says we will charge you 50 percent of you money because i trusted Oyo (Oyo could not came to aid, I did not have room till mid night, but I am charged for Oyo’s loop hope).
I asked Oyo guy to patch me with manager who can solve the issue.

(Next day)3.44: next day evening I got call from Oyo and he said let me call the own and solve the issue with property……????????
(I am at home next day, and your guy telling me to hold the call so he can solve the issue that I had last night.).

i believe that it must have been some Oyo fraud customer care, it not than oyo has become fraud himself. Now I just want my money back and to make sure that no one suffer as I did mid night on random roads of karnataka.
