Text of Complaint by Poonam Kharade:

I am writing to file a formal complaint against the recent delivery of an order I placed with Meesho, which was handled by your company, Pocketship. The incident in question has left me extremely dissatisfied and concerned about the conduct of one of your delivery personnel, Mr. Dnyaneshwar Shinde, and the overcharging that occurred during the delivery of my order.

On October 17, 2023, my order (Sub Order ID: 266605073374_1) from Meesho was scheduled for delivery by Pocketship, with the shipment tracking ID M00109006268. Unfortunately, I was not informed about the delivery in advance, and my absence from home led to an unfortunate interaction with your delivery personnel.

Mr. Dnyaneshwar Shinde, the delivery person, arrived at my residence without any prior notice. My father was the only one present at that time, and he was not informed about the UPI payment method, which was required to pay for the order. Instead of providing proper guidance or notifying me, the delivery person asked my father to scan a UPI code and charged him an exorbitant amount of Rs 835 for an order that was originally priced at Rs 324.

This action is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the conduct of your delivery personnel. Overcharging by such a significant margin is not only unethical but may also constitute fraud. I firmly believe that such practices reflect poorly on the reputation of your company and have left me deeply dissatisfied with the service provided.

I kindly request the following actions be taken to address this issue:

Immediate refund of the overcharged amount of Rs 835 to my original payment method.

Conduct an internal investigation into the actions of Mr. Dnyaneshwar Shinde and take appropriate measures to prevent such incidents in the future.

Review and enhance your company’s policies and procedures to ensure that customers are informed and presented with accurate payment information during the delivery process.
