The monthly bill for my mobile number 9972094923 was Rs 470.82 this month. Since I have opted for the auto-debit option in ICICI Bank, my account was debited for Rs 470 on Apr 4.
After that, there were 2 additional debits:
– Rs 1178.82 on April 11
– Rs 470.82 on April 16
I called up the helpline number on April 16 to clarify about this over-charging of Rs 1649.64 – it was a long call first with the operator and then with his superior. I was repeatedly assured that the amount will be reversed within 24 hours, and a mail will be sent to me explaining why the goof-up happened.
Unfortunately, as of today the amount has not been reversed and there has been no communication from their side.
I have also written 2 e-mails to them, but there I should not even an acknowledgement from Airtel.
