Hi,
I ordered a cake (Rs 928) for my mother on her bday while I was in office. The address given was Anand Vihar, Vikas Marg Extension which is where my mother was at that moment. The delivery person called me thrice to ask for directions (have the call logs proof), which I gave.
- In the first call, he was in Pushpanjali which is a different area altogether
- In the 2nd call, he was making excuses about not being able to find the block while he was right outside the block (as per description given by him)
- During the third call, he asked me which floor, which I told him about. And I disconnected hoping that it will be delivered.
When I got home post work around 10 pm, I got to know, to my utter dismay, that the cake hadn’t been delivered.
When I raised the concern to Swiggy, they refused to accept that the cake wasn’t delivered. They only offered to give me a coupon of INR 400 which is unfair since they owe me the entire amount for not delivering their service/promise/product.
