Dear Consumer Help,
I am writing to bring to your attention a concerning incident that I experienced while attempting to make a purchase from an Instagram clothing page named “mens_wear_market.” The details of the incident are as follows:
On 27/10/2023, I came across the Instagram page “mens_wear_market,” which is located at Mumbai, Maharashtra 400062. Interested in purchasing a pair of kurta koti set, I contacted the seller using the WhatsApp number provided: +91 9351067615. The seller informed me that the kurta set were priced at Rs 1300 and there would be an additional Rs 199.charged for shipping, making the total Rs . 1499 and I proceeded to make the payment by scanning the QR code provided to me.
After making the payment, I shared my delivery address with the seller. However, to my surprise, after making payment he was not responding . I attempted to reach out to the seller by calling the provided number, +91 9351067615, but my calls went unanswered.
I believe that such practices are unfair and deceptive, and I am seeking your assistance in resolving this matter. I kindly request your intervention to address this issue and ensure a fair resolution. It is my hope that appropriate action will be taken against the seller for their misleading conduct and demand for unanticipated charges.
