I was called by a person offering a resume typing data entry work and since I was searching for jobs in online sites like Internshala and Indeed , I thought it was one of my applied jobs that called. The company name they told was JOB SEARCH NET . They showed me a guarantee pay agreement and all of that .. and so I believed it and they made me sign the agreement as well. They asked to submit my adhaar and another identification card. After working for two day , I saw a lot of online fraud complaints against this company and I immediately call the person who hired me. And then he blocked my no. and that day itself I filed a complaint to cybercrime regarding the same. For the last two days I’ve been getting emails ,messages and calls threatening to pay fine for not completing my work and that it was in my agreement that if I don’t complete my work in a certain amount of time I’ll have to pay Rs. 5,000  + Gst under Contract Act 1872 if not I’ll have to pay Rs. 28000  in court for cibil Contempt and after that Ill have to pay Rs. 40,000 under Arbitrary Tribunal Case. I hope this isn’t happening . They are gujarat based , so they say it will be held on Gujarat Court. They definitely want me to pay Rs 5,000 immediately. I need to know if they could this because they got my signature and my identification cards with them and if yes , then help me
