I am Jitendra balnath sonawane, a victim of the fraud incidence happened on 9 February 2019 through OLX app.
I wanted to purchase vehicle and searched over OLX, where I found 3-4 vehicles and I quoted my price, I found vehicle Jupiter for 29000 on Vikas Patel account. I quoted 22000 and I got message on OLX to call and chat whatsup on 9351498642. The person Vikas Patel was telling himself as a Army man. So I started chatting and talking with full respect and politefull manor.
First of all he asked to pay initial amount on his army office paytm number 949948055, a/c xxxx xxxx xxxx 5928, ifsc-PYTM0123456
With amount 7100 to dispatch vehicle. He asked me address and ID proof as adhaar and pan card which I sent him. He also sent me his Army Canteen ID, Adhaar card, Indian Union Driving License which I believed as a valid identity of seller and I sent amount.
He sent me the transport army receipt in reply.
After 3 hours the delivery person contacted for the remaining amount payment as delivery challen was with red mark. So I contacted ‘Vilas’ and confirmed the situation and paid remaining amount 15000.
After few minutes, delivery man again called and started demanding insurance amount to fulfill procedure, I contacted Vikas as asked for it and he was talking please pay amount 11000 and 200 plus for insurance and it will be refunded by delivery person on product delivery. I was assured and told to pay and paid it immediately with 11200. I send the proof of paytm pay copy. And he started regretting that I should have to pay it separately as here code will not match and will interrupt the process and his senior started scolding upon him. So I quickly paid him 11000 and 200 separately.
Meanwhile I was searching the whole process of vehicle transfer district to district and found RC, insurance and RTO process.
Suddenly Vilas called me for RTO amount 15000 as he is unable to pay this much amount and was showing frustrated and saddened, and was starting sware of army uniform frequently and talking about all amount will be refunded. I believed and paid amount 15000 on his office paytm 9499480575 and him proof copy on whatsup. I felt now it will be easy now.
I got call of Vikas and his senior saying and somewhat scolding upon me as you again made a mistake and paid wrong amount, it should be paid with 15499 with its last step and later refund confirmation.
Here I felt I am getting trapped but feelings as is last step and was army believeing refund confirmation, I paid the amount 15499.
Then Vikas confirmed delivery will reach you in 1 hour. I waited near 10 minutes and again delivery man called me as delivery is on hold due to Pathankot master bond applied and for this you have to pay 21000 for this.
I recognize that I got trapped and cought in fraud case and i started refusing the delivery. In reply from Vikas, he stated that let’s cancel deal and start next process from army office. I will refund you on your account. He told me that my senior saying me that once delivery reach I will refund but no amount is refunded till now.
I searched a lot on internet and found already complaints on the name Vikas Patel for different fraud cases regarding OLX sell.

Please help me to get my huge amount 75000 in fraud and blackmailing.
Vikas Patel the thief should be punishable, these fraud guy repeating the same please try to look in this matter

I also encountered vikas patel. He told me he lives in agra and had his shop in Ahmedabad. I was the seller. He asked my paytm number and when i received the paytm message of me giving money to him, i came to know that he is a cheat. I want to lodge a complaint against him. Did this happen in Ahmedabad?
thanks you for this information you saved me today. now he is selling car but i got little suspicious about him he sent me aadharcard from rewa, army canteen card from agra phone no. was from rajasthan as true caller showed he doesn’t sent the photo of rc so i demanded video so i can check car’s registration no. online so he sent me video and i found the car is on someone else’s name from another city i got little more suspicious about him and googled about him found so many complaints and fir are on him thankyou brother for updating it on internet
Vikas Patel is an INNOCENT Army person and a Victim in this Fraud episode, rather who Paid are Fools and have less knowledge on secure paying through online and with common sense !
I am sharing my similar experience – I got a similar Call from the Number 7838356822 stating himself as Vikas Patel as an Army Man and showed eagerness to buy my Cooler (through OLX ad) in a hurry, where he asked my online PayTM details to pay ME for the same as of Rs.4,000. He repeatedly asked me to hurry on my details so he may pay for the Cooler as he needs to hurry to sign in for the Army Duty. So I provided my PayTM number, he then asked me to Accept his initiation from the UPI option (means from direct Bank account) through my PayTM App and in the SMS I found a message asking to Accept, so the amount of Rs. 4,000 to be Debited (means rather coming money from the Frauds, my money will be received to them from my Account while Acceptance submit). Many people do not understand the meaning of Debited as money going to others and Credited money coming to self Account and DO THE MISTAKE to get their money go to the FRAUDS !
Later I found the Caller showed the name as ASPAK KHAN (the Fraud)

Nothing matches, 3 different names found in this episode !

I am also cheated by vikas patel (army). He cheated me for 4000 rs. Dated 17 may 2020. He and his friend shankar bairwa are involved in such scam. But vikas patel is not his real identity. His name his army photo , army id card all are fake. His real name is Wakeel Khan and mobile numbers are 7638864238 and 8107220846. Recently using these no.s. He is active in facebook named wakeel khan. Anybody can search his name and see his real photo. Dont attend his call chat anything.
I have been cheated with the same. I lost about 50k. Can you help me with this..?
Sad truth is he cheated our police men also for 50000 today I went to nearest station to give give complaint but I was shocked hearing about this

I’m from myosre today my frnd lost 12000 he said he works in Bangalore international airport. Me and my friend went to cyber crime branch to lodge a complaint….they asked to write the complainant and attach the proofs…..and put it in a box while writing the complainant we was looking for a complaint format we took one complaint letter from box and opend it we was shocked because there was a person filed a complaint against same person Vikas Patel . He lost 30000 feeling pitty for him I request out army to take action against that person who is misusing our Pride army name …

And in 1 night it will get delevered he said.. and sent me all ary prof and everything.. so I trusted him.. next morning delevry boy called me saying I will have to pay remaining 4000 1st than they will deliver it… I paid that amount. Than he is saying insurance charge 2999.. after paying that, he is saying I will have to pay 4500 in 1 time or else they can not proceed further.. I had to pay that too.. I got doubt that he is frud.i called vikas Patel. He said yes Madam this is ary office. You will have to do the procedure. I asked him to cancel my order and refund me my amount. He said they can not cancel the order until I get it.. so for that I will have to pay GST amount of 17000.. like this he frud me of 60,000 .. than when I asked for my money. He gave me bad words.. and didn’t received mobile and not my money also… And he blocked me now…
