I’ve applied for online Data Entry work from home job to utilise my free time and earn money. An agent of the company contacted me that you applied to this job, i said yes. She said you’ve to sign up with all your details and also asked for the picture of front and back side of my Aadhar card that i refused to give and i said I’ll give some other identity proof like Voter ID card or Driving license. They said Okay! I gave them the pic of my voter ID card! Got signed up and they sent me a notarized agreement (fake) on which i made my sign and the sign of so called 3rd party was also made. I got a login ID and password on my mail and i got work to completing 700 forms in 6 days for which I’ll be paid INR 17500/- (25 Rs per form) on the 6th day or the day of completion. I did my work and when my 698 forms were completed, the site suddenly stopped giving 2 more forms that were required to complete 700 forms. When i called that executive with whom i was in touch for 6 days, she said…Sir you’ve submitted 2 blank forms by mistake due to which there were only 698 forms left that’s showing (But there’s no option to submit the blank form because when you press enter on blank form, they ask you to fill details and then only you can submit). Anyhow, according to company i submitted 2 blank forms due to which only 698 forms were left in that particular panel and to complete rest of the left 2 forms, they ask me to buy new ID worth Rs 8000/-. About all this, they didn’t mention before. I refused to pay any amount and after few minutes a call came to me saying that we’re from legal department of that company and we’re sending you a legal notice for breach of conduct.
Why I’ll receive legal notice? The mistake (fraud) is from their side, they asked me for 700 forms and site stopped working after 698 forms and then they asked to pay 8000/-.
