oneplus launched its new model oneplus 12r with 2 variants. It was mentioned on their official page the higher variant with 16/256 gb comes with ufs 4.0 storage for which they charged higher price as well. Now after i bought the device they have given an official statement that it was a mistake from their side and it does not have ufs 4.0 rather comes with ufs 3.1 which they give in their lower variant as well . lower variant comes with much lesser price. And now when i am reaching out to them for this issue they are asking me to visit the service center for solution but what solution i will get there that they are not aware, This is completely unethical & illegal . they cant simply sell their products with higher price by doing wrong advertisement. they should be penalised and strong action should be taken for such companies. I dont want to get into all the hectic process of going to service centers and getting unsatisfactory resolutions. I want my compensation for this misleading information from their side.
