I am writing to express my deep concern regarding the recent rejection of my warranty claim for my OnePlus Bullet Z2 neckband, which I purchased from Flipkart in August 2022. The original OnePlus authorized warranty is valid until August 2023, and I have also extended the warranty through OneAssist, which remains in effect until August 2024.
On October 31, 2023, I registered a service request with ID 23572023 due to a severe issue with my neckband. The product is now completely non-functional, as it only displays a red LED indication when connected to a charger.
However, my claim was unfairly rejected on the grounds of a seemingly trivial matter – the delay in intimation. I was contacted by a One Assist customer executive who, regrettably, misunderstood the date I provided. I had clearly communicated that the issue arose on October 26, 2023, but it was wrongly recorded as October 21, 2023. This misunderstanding should not be a reason to deny a valid warranty claim.
