I feel really trapped and sick to my stomach literally. I came across an Instagram post about doing the free product test and digital marketing. I am student who wants help their parents and so I signed up as tried it out. I didn’t knew better. They signed me up through what’s app and then assigned me to a mentor named “Anita” I don’t know if it’s their true alias or not. At the first few hours it was good I earned upto 1200, but after that to complete another the person who was supposed to be my mentor started blackmailing me to pay more money to complete the order within the given time or otherwise they would sue me, that person even said borrow money from my friend to pay to complete the task or otherwise their legal team would be behind me and said would destroy my future career. I was scared to death, so I asked few my good friends to lend me some money and they did. As I was supposed to complete the task the time was running out, I texted that mentor person, because the UPI ID they sent me was not working, they purposely waited until I ran out of time to pay for the product and the order was frozen, I told that mentor what exactly happened they gave me another UPI Id so I paid 1750 to complete my task but since the order froze I couldn’t, that mentor said I had to pay another 2000 to unfreeze the order. I finally lost it! I wanted to quit and clear my bank details! But the website doesn’t have that option, which is completely against consumer rights. I didn’t knew any better. As I am still young and got scammed out of money, now I don’t know what to do. Please help.
