On Monday 7th August 2023 at 08.41 am i booked a ride from Ola.
I always paid in cash for all my previous rides and i did same for this ride too.
later i started getting OLA money postpaid messages regarding I have selected OLA post paid option
and my payment is Due. I Raised an Issue from Ola app and was waiting for their executive to call.
But post that i received mail from Ola Money team. I Provided them my ride CRN number. I don’t know what verification has been done from their end. They ended up Giving me same reply on mail as follows.
I would request you to share any proof of payment UPI SS with us in order to be able to support you on this request. If you have made the payment in cash, please note that we will not be able to validate the same and hence unfortunately we will not be able to take up your request.
This was their reply.
I would like to make few Important point here.
1. why cant we see Driver’s number once the ride is over.
(I have asked OLA money team to give me drivers contact details or to put him on conference call.
but they haven’t did that.)
2. If I selected OLA money postpaid option for that ride.
(which i am totally not aware of) why cant Driver see that option in his screen ?
and why did he took cash from me for that ride ?
Please help me with this issue as this company is harassing a lot to recover their money which i have already paid in cash to the driver. they are adding penalties. why should i pay twice for my ride ?
