Text of Complaint by RACHANA:

The fare shown to me for my ride (Crn: 2761933642) dated 13th feb 2019 from vasai to thane (Approx 40km) was of rs.710 during the booking, i have been charged rs.2106/- which is nearly thrice of the estimated fare

Also i had taken rides to the same area in the last 15 days where in the
Fare was within rs. 800/-, the to and fro ride costed me rs. 1400/-

An outstation ride fare is of rs. 1299 for a distance of 80 – 90kms
Is lesser than what i am charged for a distance of 40-45 km
A fare at unusual timings like early mornings/late nights when the availability of cabs is lesser even then the fare is between rs.800 – rs. 1000

Ola gives the reason of high demand of cabs, but i actually booked the cab when it showed 15% lesser fares to which they deny

Also the company supervisor mr rajesh tells me that i would have been lucky enough since i wasn’t charge this way anytime before – this statement itself shows how arrogant the company and its employees are. Rather than providing good services, they are asking us to be thankful enough to them that they didn’t charge me heavily before

Also he has to say that we never mail you or confirm you the estimated fare would be this much, which again highlights the arrogant nature which means the customer should be open to pay whatever amount they say even if the ride is smaller

Why will any customer pay three times of the given fare when the customer is familiar to the route and knows the fare

I have been paying fare surcharge during traffic times or high demand times also, i have invoices which has an high demand charge of rs.100 -150, they give this same baseless reason for charging even three times more

The price hike to three times of actual fare is a sheer loot by the company

After repeated mails and discussion, all they have to say is fare surcharge, which can never be three times to actual fare
