Text of Complaint by Navin Kumar Govil:

Hi, This is Navin, I have booked a holiday package to GOA from MakeMyTrip on Feb’20 and my travel date was 20th April 2020. Due to Covid-19, We can not travel and I contact MakeMyTrip customer care and they told me due to the pandemic, your booking has been postponed and you can change the date if you want and there is no charge for date rescheduling. They also said that your amount is safe and you can travel within a year.

But now when I told to reschedule my travel date to 2nd Nov 2020, they are saying me to pay extra 14000 rs. as date rescheduling charge. what the hell is this. How any travel company can say their customer to pay an extra amount even that was not their fault. My booking id is NL2131952322462.

After these disputes, I tried to cancel the booking and they say we can not refund the full amount as per our policies. Even the government has given the order to all the travel companies to refund the whole amount if any customer wants to cancel it due to covid-19. Even MakeMyTrip’s website has the same information to refund the amount. I have the screenshots of that which I am attaching along with that. Please try to clear these issues as I am really pissed off with MakeMyTrip. I humble request.
