Dear Sir,
I, Chander Parkash, resident of Hisar, Haryana (125001) with phone number 9416838825 have ordered an Mi trimmer for Rs. 1199 with order id as 408 5154987 6439527 on 29 April 2020.
I was in the serious demand of the product due to lockdown. Therefore, I ordered from a reliable and big company i. e. Amazon, avoiding others companies.
Amazon promised me to deliver it in 7-10 days. After, the said period, when the item could not reach me, I was keeping an eye on daily basis on amazon app to see delivery status. It was telling me that due to government restrictions, the delivery would be late. So I patiently waited approximately for one month.
But the delivery status was unchanged even after about one month, however, government had relaxed the delivery norms. Moreover, even amazon was showing the delivery of products within stipulated time with guarantee on their app at my pin.
This gave me mental harassment, and its intensity was severe, since amazon was not bothering to inform me about delivery of my pre paid order by any notification / sms/ call.
Then, I called amazon, and it get connected after time, the associate told me to wait or take the refund. Since I was badly in the need of product, so I opted for wait for delivery. However, he could not give the answer for not informing me the exact reason for delay in delivery.
Again, I waited, but without results. So called the lady associate of Amazon. I told her that I am in great need for product, and delivery of same item is promised at my pin within a week by amazon. She promised me to resolve the issue and delivery of the item on early basis. She promised me that the order will be delivered to you.
Suddenly, on the same day evening, I got the message from amazon that your order has been cancelled and refund has been initiated. I was in serious mental stress condition, since I was waiting the product from one month and it became cancelled without informing me or taking me in loop. Moreover, the same item was still available at amazon for delivery but at higher price.
I contacted the customer associate, made everything clear, he said that you cancelled the order and it is not from amazon, who cancelled the order.
I told that I am having proof that I did not cancelled the order and it is amazon who did it. He said that we will listen to the call details of myself with lady associate, and will find out that who cancelled the order.
Next day, I called again to ask that who was guilty in the entire process. She talked with me un-politely and said we can’t do in this, we will not tell you who is guilty in this, and you have to order a fresh.
I requested her to allow me to discuss all the matter with her senior associate.
She told senior is unavailable and she has arranged a call back from senior. BUT I AM STILL WAITING FOR CALL BACK FROM SENIOR even after 4-5 days.
Now Amazon is showing on its app that I have cancelled the order, which is not true. Moreover, Amazon is showing that Rs 250 cashback has been given to me, which is also not true, since it was my money. Amazon will keep on spreading the word that Rs 250 cashback has been given to the customer, which is not true. Amazon will keep on encashing these words in making it popularize. Which is wrong.
What I want :
Since I waited for the product for long, so the item should be delivered to me at the same price, in which, I ordered, and I will pay the same amount of 949, which amazon has refunded to me.
In case above is not possible then Rs 250 cashback should be paid to my amazon account, which they are saying from long. And a compensation in lieu of mental harassment should be given.
Hope the matter will be resolved soon and guilty would be punished.
