Text of Complaint by Ajay Naha:

I am lodging this complaint against Eureka Forbes regarding their water purifier service. The details of the complaint are as follows:

AMC Renewal with Unfulfilled Promises:
Mid February 2024, I renewed my Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) with Eureka Forbes for my water purifier, which was due to expire on 16th April 2024. The technician assured me that the renewed AMC, spanning from 16th April 2024 to 16th April 2026, would cover the cost of filters (Once a year) and comprehensive service.

Purifier Malfunction After Renewal:
Shortly after renewing the AMC, the water purifier malfunctioned. Despite multiple complaints and requests for assistance, although technician has visited one or two times, but they have not repaired the Water Purifier.

Unaddressed Grievances:
I have diligently lodged several complaints with Eureka Forbes’ Grievance Cell, providing details of the non-functional purifier and requesting prompt resolution. Unfortunately, although they have responded to my emails to rectify the issue but my grievances have gone unanswered, and there has been no meaningful action taken to rectify the situation.

Breach of Contract:
The lack of response and failure to provide the promised services, especially after the AMC renewal explicitly covering filter costs, constitutes a breach of contract on Eureka Forbes’ part.

Financial Implications:
This situation has not only caused inconvenience but also financial loss, as I paid for the renewed AMC with the expectation of uninterrupted and improved service.

Request for Immediate Resolution:
I am now left with no option but to escalate the matter to the Consumer Complaints Court. I request immediate attention to this matter, the restoration of the purifier’s functionality, and compensation for the inconvenience and financial loss incurred.

I trust that the Consumer Complaints Court will investigate this matter thoroughly and take appropriate action to ensure justice is served.
