I had ordered an Honda Bush Cutter on the 5th of October. The machine after operating for half hour abruptly stopped working. After speaking to the company people who sold me the product they agreed to pay back upon return. The pick-up was scheduled on the 29th of Oct but even after repeated complaints they have been re-scheduling the pick-up dates. Finally around the 18th of November they promised to refund the amount saying the fault is theirs and the amount would be credited within 3 working days. After 5 days they upon calling said will be given in 3 working days. Finally on 26th they promised on a refund by 9pm. When I called them on Monday the 29th when I spoke to the tech lead she said they are going to re-attempt the pick-up. And again the pick-up team have sent me a message saying that I’m unavailable. When I ask for a solution or a way of taking this issue to higher authority they say they don’t have any means for that.
A company functioning in India doesn’t have a proper compliance team or a grievance addressing system I have no other means than going to the court of law.
I have been a prime customer and have been paying a membership of Rs.999/- for the same. Yet being one this is the way they treat me out. I have been under severe stress for the past 1.5 month.
My wife is also at loggerheads as the product is in my hall in a 850sq ft house. I have been protecting the product in its original packaging from my two small kids and also from the adverse weather that has been lashing this region past month.
