Dear Sir,

With respect to my complaint number- 89035439 which I made against my DTH consumer ID number-3005862267, I would like to inform you that due to extremely severe cyclonic storm “FANI” that hits odisha cost  on 3rd May 2019, outer unit of my DTH connection which is installed on the rooftop of my house has been toppled down. I could not able to made complaint with the Airtel Customer care Executive.

On the very day as electric supply as well as mobile network also disrupted.Things were so horrible then that I had no time to think about this.Electric supply was restored in our locality on 12th May 2019 and immediately I made the complaint about the damaged to Airtel Customer care Executive with the help of meager mobile network available then and I was told by the Customer care Executive that my complaint would be resolved within next 48 hours which followed by a message on my registered mobile number-7751834657 that the outer unit cost is Rs.600/- and I was supposed to recharge that amount immediately so that they could resolved my complaint.

Since then I made several calls to the customer care executive with regular intervals and I have been told that my complaint would be resolved within 12 hours, 48 hours, 72 hours etc. Today on 21st May 2019 I have spoken with Mr. Pitamber, the senior customer care executive and he told me that as per updates available with them my complaint can only be resolved within next 7 days which is ridiculous and shows their lackadaisical attitude towards resolving the customers problem.

Besides the ever, it is pertientto mentioned here that without providing me any service by the airtel, per day charge for the channel subscribed by me is being deducted from my account regularly from 3rd May 2019 which needs to be refunded till the date my complaint is resolved by the company.

Furthermore, Rs. 1000/- per day for compensation towards harshment caused to me and my family by not resolving the issue within the prescribed time frame may also be credited on my account with effect from 12th May 2019 viz the date I made the complaint till the defect is rectified by the company.
