Text of Complaint by Sumit Kumar Manna:

I cancelled Amazon India order #407-1247940-9160301 on 30th Sep, 2022 when it was on transit. The order value was of INR 1049.00. Since I did not receive refund for the same, I called customer care on 11th Oct for it and asked for refund reference number. Amazon did not have the reference number hence they raised an internal complaint to get it and I was asked to wait till end of 18th Oct. I called again on 13th Oct to know if there’s any update which they did not have and again asked me to wait till end of 18th Oct.

I called Amazon customer care on 19th Oct since refund has not been issues yet. The customer care informed me that they still don’t have refund reference number and I should wait till end of 20th Oct as they cancelled previous request raised on 11th and created a new one on 13th. I did not ask Amazon customer care to cancel the old request and create a new one. When I asked them to transfer the call to floor manager/supvisor who can effectively address my issue on 19th Oct, the call was transferred and I was kept on hold for 20 minutes without anyone picking up the transferred call.

This is simply a delay tactics by Amazon and harassing the customer (me). Can you please look into it at the earliest and resolve the issue? This is a lot of mental and financial stress caused by Amazon India.
