Text of Complaint by KANAK JAIN:

The consumer has ordered (order id 408-7022179-6316306) a product named Sony WH-1000XM4 Wireless headphones from Amazon website. The consumer has received a technically defective product so the consumer contacted amazon customer support about that defectiveness then support executive suggested he can replace the product with the same new one after some days replacement product has not delivered again consumer contacted amazon support then they said replacement product couldn’t be delivered due to any technical circumstances so they instead of replacement they can initiate a return of the original product and issue a full refund to the consumer. After that consumer handed over the originally received product to amazon executive who came to pick up the product. The originally delivered product was successfully picked up by amazon dated 04-08-2022. After two weeks passed consumer didn’t receive a refund so he contacted amazon customer support then they replied they have received the wrong product so they can’t both refund the amount and replace the product. it means amazon has both customers’ money and product as well. that’s pure fraud on their part. If as per them they have picked up the wrong product then it is the fault of amazon’s part, not the consumer’s, if the product was wrong then amazon should have rejected the pickup then why did they pick up the wrong product?
the consumer has ordered this product on an EMI basis because this bank has already charged one month of EMI along with interest and processing fees. who will be held responsible for this loss to the consumer?
Consumer wants two resolution:-
1. Issuance of full refund along with compensation for mental harassment
2. Unblocking of Amazon account for future orders.
