I had placed an order for Milton ivory glass painted bottles for amount of rs 1000 from amazon. The guaranteed delivery date was 4th March, 2021 by 9pm.
We were at home the whole time waiting for the delivery but the product was not delivered. I received a call from the amazon agent late at night stating that the delivery was running late so hence,requesting if the delivery could be attempted the next day i.e friday in the morning before 9am since I told him after that I was to go out for work. But despite that noone showed up or called for delivery. So I called amazon to complain about all this.
I was asked by amazon to wait till Saturday and that the delivery would take place then. But on Saturday I received a call from the delivery agent at around 10.15pm for the delivery saying that since it was very late, he would be delivering the next day ( sunday 7th march) but today too nobody showed up.
Again I called up Amazon customer care and spoke to the escalation head Vanshita who assured me of delivery by today evening by 5pm.
But to my dismay, I receive a call from amazon saying that the product was in the process of being returned to the seller and that there was nothing he could do about it apart from issuing a refund.
After all this mental harassment I had to go through wasting my time and so much inconvenience, refund is the only thing they said could be done.
I request you to escalate this issue since after being a prime member and a regular customer this is how they treat me. Unprofessional behaviour on part of the entire amazon team who put me through such harassment.
